The Dead Army Beneath the Mountain Was Never Meant to Wake Up
Long before the kingdom existed, the mountain was sealed.
Ancient records claimed an entire army had been buried beneath it after a war so devastating that history itself was nearly erased. According to legend, the soldiers were never truly defeated—they were trapped.

And they were never meant to return.
For centuries, the mountain remained untouched. No villages were built nearby. No roads crossed its slopes. Even hunters avoided the area after sunset.
Then the earthquakes began.

At first, they were small. Barely noticeable tremors beneath distant towns. But each night they grew stronger. Strange cracks appeared along the mountain’s surface, revealing symbols carved into the stone beneath layers of rock.
The royal scholars recognized them immediately.

Seals.
Ancient ones.
Before warnings could spread across the kingdom, the mountain opened.
Witnesses claimed the sound echoed for miles as the stone entrance split apart from the inside. Cold air poured from the darkness below—and then the lights appeared.
Thousands of them.

Blue flames glowing where eyes should have been.
An army began climbing out of the mountain slowly and silently, wearing armor untouched by time itself.
No voices.
No battle cries.
Just endless marching.

The king ordered every nearby village evacuated before sunrise. But scouts sent to track the army never returned.
Because this was not an invasion.
The dead army wasn’t marching toward the kingdom.
It was marching toward something far worse.
